Getting perfect pelts can be tricky though- for starters, only hunt animals that are tagged as Pristine (you can check their “quality” by studying them with your binoculars). The pelts you get from animals can also be sold or used to craft new equipment- for both purposes, it makes sense that you’ll want to get perfect pelts.
